The Smithy

A ground floor self-catering cottage recently refurbished to a high standard offering cosy and welcoming accommodation for 3 guests in a private enclosed 18th Century courtyard. As new owners we can't wait for you to come and stay.  We have chosen Mint Macaroon paint throughout the cottage as it complements the historic beams.

The Smithy is dog friendly and we welcome a well behaved pet. (Two by arrangement).  We politely ask that your family pet(s) stay in the lounge area only and not in the bedrooms.   We have spent considerable time researching outside facilities for you to use to wash your dog(s) after a muddy walk.  We are  sure that you will agree that it is best to "Keep them muddy paws off your silky drawers"

The accommodation, is heated by oil fired central heating and comprises:
Lounge/kitchen: SMART TV (Freeview, Netflix and Prime Movies included)

Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge / freezer and dining area.

King Size bedroom

New King sized bed, stunning historic dressing table and solid wardrobe.

Towels and hairdryer provided.

Curtains by local independent, Milners. 

Single bed

Cosy single bed, wardrobe. 

Bathroom: Shower

All fuel, power, bed linen and Wi-Fi included.

Cot and highchair available by arrangement.

Enclosed communal gardens and parking for one car. Locked communal bicycle store available on site.

Situated in a courtyard development with Cobble Cottage and Hayloft Cottage.
